Path to WEV

Katya began working for local advocacy nonprofits while she was studying environmental studies at UCSB and learned about the importance of local-led efforts in creating lasting change. She gained further experience in program management working for the Santa Barbara County Food Action Network (SBCFAN), where she was responsible for developing public-facing communications and coordinating outreach opportunities. Katya is thrilled to work with WEV, connecting community members to WEV’s training programs and supporting them in achieving their goals.

“It is truly an honor to be a part of an organization that is empowering women and helping small business owners pursue their dreams and passions.”
