Path to WEV

Gabriela has worked in the finance industry since Gabriela was 19 years old and has experienced the changes and challenges throughout the years for credit establishment, loan qualifying, consumer loans, and home loans for entrepreneurs. Gabriela was determined to help individuals reach their financial goals through financial literacy, credit development and intentional action planning. As a Financial Coach, Credit Advisor, Program Manager, and Homeownership Counselor for 9 years, Gabriela educated and guided individuals in marginalized communities, providing financial education with clients’ specific goals in mind, along with one-on-one consulting.

Building confidence and empowering clients to ask for options has always been Gabriela’s drive. In Gabriela’s current role in the finance industry, Gabriela focuses on strategic planning for home loan qualifying for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Gabriela enjoys seeing clients reach beyond their expectations and achieve their goals.

Gabriela’s passion for economic empowerment for women and girls led her to become a Financial Empowerment instructor with WEV and to volunteer as a Fundraising VP for another local non-profit.

“WEV is singular in executing their mission and vision of providing economic empowerment to multi-cultural women in our communities!”
