Path to WEV

From a young age, Irene has been interested in the role that money plays in our lives. She decided to study Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Utah and, shortly after, began working in the fields of Impact Investing and Poverty Alleviation. Through this work, Irene learned about the importance of financial education both locally and abroad. Years later, she moved to Santa Barbara to work as an Investment Advisor and started volunteering with WEV as a bilingual financial educator. Now, she is excited to work with incredible people every day, empowering our clients to achieve their personal and business goals.

“Financial Literacy is a social justice issue and as the CEOs of our own financial journeys, it is up to us to start asking for what we need and deserve.”
