January 2023 Storms & Floods – Small Business Disaster Assistance

SBA Emergency Loans

With Santa Barbara County and Ventura County recently receiving federal disaster declarations, SBA emergency loans are now available for individuals and businesses impacted by the severe winter storms and floods which occurred around January 9th 2023.

To apply for a loan, owners of impacted businesses must:

  1. Apply for a FEMA number, by either calling FEMA on 1-800-621-3362 or visiting the FEMA website.
  2. After receiving a FEMA number, apply for an SBA Disaster Loan to cover Business Physical Damage, Economic Injury, or Home Physical Damage via the SBA Disaster Assistance website.
