Lizzy’s jewelry business started out of a desire to create jewelry she could wear. She said “I started Simple Wealth because most of the jewelry pieces I tried to wear gave me a rash. After finding out that I was allergic to Nickel, a common metal in fashion jewelry, I started making my own pieces. After receiving commissions from friends and family I started to expand.”

Lizzy came to WEV in 2017 to build on her entrepreneurial knowledge through the business planning SET class. She found community, skills, and support.

She said ” WEV taught me how to track spending, create budgets, network, and how to be professional. I started to feel like a real businesswoman, instead of just a lady with an idea. I started paying more attention to the admin side of the business and taking pride in how organized I was. My experience with WEV was very fulfilling. I became part of a large community of women who were focused on helping and supporting one another.”

Simple Wealth Art is expanding, now accepting wholesale orders. Lizzy is thrilled “my jewelry will be available in the Lotusland gift shop in Montecito, CA!!”
